Garraway has an experienced team comprising of investment management, sales and marketing, compliance, legal, operations and finance professionals.
David has a long and successful record of running specialist, high-performance UK mandates.
He co-founded Oriel Asset Management. Prior to that he re-launched the institutional offering at Fidelity International, developing an investment process, managing high-performance mandates and marketing funds. He was responsible for managing the flagship UK high-performance retail and institutional mandates at SWIP, and at Martin Currie he helped develop a UK specialist business that grew assets to around £400m. He also worked for six years on the UK Specialist Team at Mercury Asset Management/MLIM, London.
Tim works with David Urch as co-manager of the VT Garraway UK Equity Market Fund. He chairs the weekly portfolio meetings, where decisions on stock and sector exposure and portfolio risk characteristics are assessed.
Tim previously worked alongside David at OAM, where he was Partner and Chairman. He spent much of his career at Martin Currie, where his roles included managing UK equities, helping establish a global client service offering and overseeing teams dedicated to institutional sales. Latterly he ran the investment floor with its associated trading and risk teams. His experience at board level is reflected in a number of non-executive roles and the chairing of major charitable foundations. His investment career has spanned three decades.
Lead Fund Manager of the Garraway Global Equity Fund. Prior to joining Garraway, he managed the TM Global Equity Fund where he consistently delivered alpha. He is an accomplished equity specialist with a strong track record. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Banking & Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Malta in 2005. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Yannis has been with the firm since 2008 and is responsible for distributing Garraway’s funds and products to the UK intermediary marketplace where his focus is on wealth managers and investment advisory firms. Working in the industry since 2003, Yannis has helped to engineer and drive the marketing strategy of a wide variety of investment opportunities from alternatives to more mainstream investment strategies, and has a proven track record in both.
Christian joined Garraway’s Business Development team in 2016. He has worked in the investment management industry since 2012, most recently as an advisor for a City based stockbroking firm advising on private client portfolios. Christian holds the Investment Advice Diploma from The Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment.
Joe is Chief Operating Officer at Garraway.
Joe has worked in the investment management industry since 2008, and has experience and knowledge of various types of global fund structures. He joined EEA Fund Management Limited in 2008, where he spent 5 years before joining Pensato Capital Management LLP in 2013 as a Senior Operations Analyst. In 2014, he returned to the Group as Head of Operations, before becoming Chief Operating Officer for Garraway Capital Management LLP.
Steven works on the Operations team for Garraway, having joined the firm in 2014
Prior to Garraway, Steven spent two years with US Bancorp Fund Services Ltd working on a number of Global Macro funds, and previously spent a year working in Risk and Middle Office at Citco Financial Products. Steven graduated from the University of Surrey with First Class Honours in Business Management.
Sam joined Garraway in 2018 as an Operations Analyst. Before joining Garraway he held an operations role at FX broker Worldwide Currencies. He graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2017 with a BSc in Economics.
Andrew delivers expert in-house support to Garraway Capital Management and other members of the Anath Capital group of companies on regulatory and legal issues. Prior to joining the group in June 2009, Andrew was a Director in Legal Services at Dresdner Kleinwort. He trained and qualified at Clifford Chance in 1998, and also worked at McDermott, Will and Emery. Andrew has a BA Honours degree in Geography from Jesus College, Oxford and an MA degree in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury, and completed his studies at the College of Law in York.
