Garraway Announces Major Fund Management Expansion
26 March 2019
In a move designed to deliver an enhanced foundation for the continued growth of its fund management business, Garraway Capital Management LLP (Garraway) has replaced City Financial as investment manager to its absolute equity and multi-asset UCITS funds and added them to its UCITS range of funds.
Commenting on the announcement, Garraway’s Managing Partner Hiren Patel said:
“This represents a major step forward for us and signals our ambition to build a diversified suite of funds under management that share our characteristic distinctiveness and differentiation."
“Each of these funds is run by experienced and well-respected fund managers who offer a distinctive approach that can enhance returns or help diversify investor portfolios.”
“Garraway offers its fund managers a distribution network as well as the regulatory and support infrastructure they need without requiring them to compromise on investment policy or style.”
“A big part of this transaction is also about attracting both emerging and established fund manager talent who wish to benefit from our comprehensive support and stable platform.”
“We are really excited by this move and what it means for the future of our fund business.”
The funds transferred are the Absolute Equity Fund, managed by David Crawford and Ade Roberts, and the Multi Asset Funds managed by Mark Harris. Valu-Trac Administration Services has become the Authorised Corporate Director of these UK UCITS funds.
Mr Patel added:
“We are pleased to welcome David, Ade and Mark to our team of talented managers and look forward to helping them build on their success.”
