Garraway has an experienced team comprising of investment management, sales and marketing, compliance, legal, operations and finance professionals.
Hiren has worked in the investment management sector for more than 20 years where he has held significant management roles in regulated companies. He is the Managing Director of Anath Capital Group Limited with responsibilities across all its underlying businesses. He was Group Finance Director at EPIC Investment Partners Limited, the investment arm of Brit Insurance, and is still a Partner at EPIC Private Equity LLP. He has also worked at Groupama Asset Management Limited.
Tim Hall is Risk Officer for Garraway Capital Management LLP, and a co-manager of the firm’s UK Equity and Global equity products. Tim joined the group in 2013 from Oriel Asset Management LLP. Prior to this, he spent much of his career at Martin Currie, where his roles included managing UK equities, helping establish a global client service offering and overseeing teams dedicated to institutional sales. Latterly he ran the investment floor with its associated risk and trading teams. His investment career has spanned three decades.
Mark is the lead Fund Manager of Garraway’s range of multi-asset funds. Mark joined Garraway in 2019 from City Financial where he headed the multi-asset team, joining in October 2012 as part of its acquisition of Eden Asset Management. He joined Eden in 2011 to head its multi-asset business. In 2009, he joined Henderson following its acquisition of New Star Asset Management, leading a team of six managing over £2 billion in assets across a range of low to high-risk mandates. He had previously spent six years at New Star Asset Management managing a range of award-winning funds. Mark has a degree in Law and Economics from Newcastle University.
Malcolm is the lead Fund Manager of Garraway Global Equity Fund and VT Garraway UK Equity Market Fund. With an investment career spanning over 10 years, he is an accomplished equity fund manager with a strong track record in both Global and UK fund mandates. Prior to joining Garraway, Malcolm was the lead fund manager of TM Global Equity Fund, a UK-focussed global equity mandate, and of TM Innovation Fund, a mid-to-small cap UK equity fund. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Banking & Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Malta in 2005. He is a CFA Charterholder.
Henry is the lead manager of Blackfriars Oriental Focus Fund. Henry joined Garraway in 2019 from Blackfriars Asset Management. He began his career at Thornton Management (Asia) in 1985. In 1989 he was appointed investment director of Royal Trust Asset Management (Asia), a position he retained during subsequent acquisitions by Credit Lyonnais International Asset Management and Nicholas Applegate Capital Management. In 1999 he was appointed co-head of emerging markets at Colonial First State Investments, a position he retained until April 2000 when he resigned to co-found BDT Invest LLP where he was chief executive officer for 14 years and managed the Establishment Investment Trust and co-managed BDT Invest's Oriental Focus and Asian Focus Funds (now the Blackfriars Oriental Focus Fund). He joined Blackfriars Asset Management in 2014. He holds a BSSc from Bristol University.
Pushpanshu joined Garraway in 2019 from City Financial where he was a fund analyst for the Multi Asset team responsible for fund specific research and quantitative modelling. He joined City Financial in 2017 after graduating from University College London (UCL) with an MSci in Mathematics, where he completed his thesis in fluid dynamics with a focus on situational modelling and financial mathematics. Prior to starting his career in financial services, he completed internships at the UCL School of Management, Atlantic Trading and Procter & Gamble.
Matt joined Garraway’s Business Development team in 2018. He has worked in the asset management industry since 2014, most recently working as a Client Relationship Manager for UBS Asset Management in the UK wholesale space. He graduated from Loughborough University in 2014 with a BSc in International Business.
Barry has been with the group since 2008; he provides Garraway with business, sales, PR & marketing support. He has worked in the industry since 1994 and prior to joining the group he spent 10 years at JPMorgan Asset Management. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Yannis has been with the firm since 2008 and is responsible for distributing Garraway’s funds and products to the UK intermediary marketplace where his focus is on wealth managers and investment advisory firms. Working in the industry since 2003, Yannis has helped to engineer and drive the marketing strategy of a wide variety of investment opportunities from alternatives to more mainstream investment strategies, and has a proven track record in both.
Josh joined Garraway in 2019. Prior to joining Garraway, he worked with Brook Green, a third-party marketing and distribution firm. In 2012, he joined Aurum, a fund of hedge funds, where he distributed both their offshore and UCITS offering. Before that he spent 6 years at Master Capital. Josh began his career at Williams de Broe in 2005. Josh is experienced in both traditional and alternative asset classes with a proven track record of asset raising. During his career he has distributed various hedge fund strategies, long only equity and fixed income funds (investing in both developed and emerging markets) and an array of private lending strategies.
Daniel joined Garraway’s Business Development team in 2019. He graduated from the University of Portsmouth in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Economics.
Andrew delivers expert in-house support to Garraway Capital Management and other members of the Anath Capital group of companies on legal and regulatory issues. Prior to joining the firm in June 2009, Andrew was a Director in Legal Services at Dresdner Kleinwort. Before that, he trained and qualified at Clifford Chance and subsequently moved to McDermott, Will and Emery. Andrew has a BA Honours degree in Geography from Jesus College, Oxford and an MA degree in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury. He completed his studies at the College of Law in York, where he gained his Diploma in Law (Common Professional Examination) and completed his Legal Practice Course.
Joe has worked in the investment management industry since 2008, and has experience and knowledge of various types of global fund structures. He joined EEA Fund Management Limited in 2008, where he spent 5 years before joining Pensato Capital Management LLP in 2013 as a Senior Operations Analyst. In 2014, he returned to the Group as Head of Operations, before becoming Chief Operating Officer for Garraway Capital Management LLP.
Steven is Operations Manager for Garraway, having joined the firm in 2014. Prior to Garraway, Steven spent two years with US Bancorp Fund Services Ltd working on a number of Global Macro funds, and previously spent a year working in Risk and Middle Office at Citco Financial Products. Steven graduated from the University of Surrey with First Class Honours in Business Management.
Max joined Garraway in April 2019 as a Junior Operations Analyst. Prior to joining Garraway he worked as an Account Executive at Fisher Investments UK. He graduated from IIE Varsity College Cape Town with a Bachelors of Commerce in Finance in 2017.
